Election Day 4.02 is now available. It was released on February 13, 2008. It should be working in every version of Windows, though we're awaiting more testing on Vista.
We haven't
tested this version on less than a Pentium II, 266Mhz with 64MB of RAM);
and (3) a monitor capable of displaying at 800 x 600. (If you have a 13"
monitor or larger, you should have no problem.) You'll also need to have
at least version 3.1 of Internet Explorer, a sound card, and the Windows
Media Player for video (you probably already have all of these things
on your computer).
Downloading the Game
To download Election Day, you'll need to register and then visit the downloads section.
- Download the ED4Setup.exe file. It's over 50MB, so it may take a while.
Note the location where you save the file.
- Double-click on the downloaded file and it will start
the setup process.
- During setup, if you are asked whether you'd like to replace newer
versions of Windows files with older ones, click on the "No to
all" option. Newer is always better, right?
